I had a female Chocolate hooded rat surrendered to the rescue. She is currently weaning her LAST litter of 6 babies. Im looking for an adopter who would be willing to take this girl on. She is a biter at the moment, but could just be protecting her babies. She is a beautiful girl, but also blind in one eye, which could be another reason she is not trusting yet. There would be no charge for her to the correct person. She is about 1 year old, i think she has had 2 litters so far.
If you like to rescue and help, this girl is for you! I think she could be a great pet if someone with experience, patience and a bit of time could take her in. She had her 6 babies on the 19th of September and wont be ready until the 23rd of October. Second picture is her 1 day before she had her babies, fat little rat!!
